2008 Summer Program Application Opens


Types and Eligibility for Scholarships

  • 1. Subject to the Regulations for Obtaining Scholarships, Xiamen Academy provides limited number of scholarship to qualified applicants (both Chinese Mainland and Non-Chinese Mainland) on a selective basis.

    2. Xiamen Academy offers two types of scholarships:
    2.1. Full scholarship, which includes:
    (1) Full exemption of the registration fee;
    (2) Reimbursement of an economy-class round-trip air ticket from the student’s national state or residing state to Xiamen or a certain sum of trip subsidy, subject to the financial regulation of the Foreign Exchange Regulations of China and Xiamen University; and
    (3) Exemption of the course materials fee.
    2.2. Partial scholarship, which includes:
    (1) Full exemption of the registration fee; and
    (2) Exemption of the course materials fee.

    3. The scholarships will be payable to the students upon his/her registration. However, failure to finish the program or unexcused absenteeism from the course will result in the forfeiture of the scholarship in full, requiring a full refund of the scholarship by the disqualified student.

    4. Scholarships are granted on a first-come-first-served basis, so we encourage our applicants to submit their application form as soon as possible.
