2010 Summer Program

The orderly registration of Xiamen Academy of International Law 2009 Summer Program 7/10/2009 10:43:52 AM Xiamen Academy of International Law 2009 Summer Program is held on 6-26th July. Participants registration was held on 5th July. In order to be well prepared for the summer program, the Secretariat of the Academy held several meetings in May and June to coordinate and distribute all kinds of work. Student volunteers are enthusiastic in their respective work. On July 5, the registration was well organized. The registration was in the lobby of Law School. When the participants come to register, they all get warm welcome and thoughtful services. Some volunteers even stayed at Xiamen Airport to welcome the participants who are from different countries, and helped them to arrive at the Law School timely and safely. These foreign participants spoke very highly of the volunteers. On the registration day, the 2009 Summer Program received more than 70 participants in all. There are more than 30 foreign participants who are from different countries such as South Korea, Germany, Russia, Thailand etc, and more than 40 Chinese students from different law schools, such as China University of Political Science and Law, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Sun Yat-sen University and etc. For most students, this is their first time to attend the summer program in Xiamen. Two students came to the summer program on the second time. They were greatly impressed by last year’s summer session and this year they came again. Moreover, they encouraged their fellow students to come this year. Almost all participants are very excited to say that Xiamen is very beautiful, so is Xiamen University! Sabri who is from Turkey said that he loves Xiamen, because the climate here is like his hometown’s. Another student who is from Korea said the South Gate of the University is very simple and classic, he likes it very much. The orderly registration gives a successful beginning to the Summer Program. We wish all the participants have nice study and stay in the following three weeks. 2009年厦门国际法高等研究院暑期研修班井然有序的报到日 2009年“厦门国际法高等研究院暑期研修班” 于7月6日至26日举办。 7月5日是学员报到日，为做好报到的各项工作，研究院多次召开迎接工作协调会，进行周密的安排部署。为了让学员及时、安全地抵校报到，学校特地组织了志愿者在机场接机，引导和接待来自海内外的学员，赢得了他们的赞赏。学员报到点设置在法学院二楼大厅，当天，志愿者和相关工作人员以极大的热诚有条不紊地展开工作，让每一位前来报到的学员都感受到他们灿烂的笑脸与周到的服务。本次暑期学校共迎来了来自国内外的70余名学员，其中，海外学员30余名，分别来自韩国、德国、俄罗斯、捷克、泰国等15个国家和地区，国内学员40余名，来自中国政法大学，中南财经政法大学，中山大学等各大高校。研究院为学员们提供了设施齐备、环境优美的厦大学生公寓，并分发校园一卡通，方便学员校内消费。有的学员，如来自西南政法大学的李博同学，已是第二次来参加暑期班。而大部分学员还是第一次来参加，很多人很兴奋地说，厦门很漂亮，厦大很漂亮！一位来自土耳其的老师Sabri说他热爱厦门，因为这里的气候特别像他家乡的气候，而另一位来自韩国的学生则赞叹厦大的南门非常古朴，特色十足，他很喜欢。井然有序的报到工作为暑期班带来了良好的开始，祝愿各位学员在接下来的三周学习愉快！

Xiamen Academy of International Law 2009 Summer Program is held on 6-26th July.
