Opening Ceremony of the 2009 Summer Program of Xiamen Academy will be held on July 6 2009 in Xiamen!

The grand Opening Ceremony of the 2009 Summer Program of Xiamen Academy of International Law will be held in Xiamen, on Monday, 6 July 2009.
This year, the Xiamen Academy invites eight highly qualified legal professionals from around the world to give lectures in the summer program. The summer program has attracted 140 students who come from more than 30 countries and regions.
Two honored guests are invited to give Courtesy Remarks in the Opening Ceremony. One is Mrs. Liu Yang, Executive Vice President of the China Society of Law. The other is H.E. Prof. Rahmat Mohamad, Secretary General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization, who is going to sign an important academic cooperation memorandum with Xiamen Academy on behalf of his organization. After the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Mohamad will also present the Opening Lecture on “The Post Westphalian Era of International Law: Bringing together Asian-African States in Harmonizing the International Legal Order”.
